What's the hold up?

So, yeah, I know. I'm a slacker. In many ways than one. I know that I was supposed to move out this weekend, but I guess that really didn't happen. Lack of packing tape I suppose. The folded up boxes are still in the back seat of my car, which by the way happen to smell a little like garbage. Ish. But a certain someone has been a little lazy and just won't take them out. AKA, me. I was going to do it last night, but Sweet Home Alabama was on and that is just the best movie ever made. Anywho, back to the moving scenario, I made an executive decision that I will try to move out next weekend. Reason being, I have some events coming up this week that require me to be on this side of the continent. One, being a gynie appointment (Whoo hoo). Two, being one of my closest friends Chelsey, will be graduating and I am playing host for her graduation party, which will take place at his house, or my house, or our house, or his house, but I'm living in it and having a party there. Yeah. Whatev. And three being... Skydiving!! Holy shit, I know I'm probably actually going to shit my pants for real. But it should be exciting. So, although the move didn't quite happen yet, I will still keep you posted about the happenings of the old life.

So a little about my weekend... Friday, I went to Firebird Raceway. Every Friday they have open drag races, so you can race your 92 Honda Civic with sweet neon lights and a body kit if you really wanted to. Which, when I raced mine ran 20sec in the quarter mile. No, really I did own a 92 Honda Civic, but never ran it at the track. I did on the other hand run my current vehicle a 02 VW Jetta. It did alright. Ran a 15.8 which isn't all that bad. Saturday, it was pretty quite. We went to Home Depot. Would have gone to Bed Bath and Beyond but we didn't have enough time! haha. No, actually I did 9 loads of laundry. So, if you do the math correctly, at about an hour in the dryer per load, yeah, that's 9 hours of laundry! So that pretty much sucked my day clean. Haha. Punny. Sunday, I went to the Dog Pound. It's always nice to go see all the crazy pit bulls that would bite your hand off in one swift move that say "Rabies Quarantine" on their kennels. But then you see that cute little fur ball laying, shivering, in the back of the cement kennel and your eyes start welling up. Boo. Tip of the day.. Don't ever go to the dog pound when you're PMSing. Bad idea. All you leave with is smeared mascara and the need to take all 150 dogs home with you. So you can mother them and love them forever and ever. In fact, that's how I got Petey. haha. Only he was in with the kitties because it was winter and he was this tiny black, shivering, excuse for a puppy. He looked a little like a tiny rat/mouse/bat. But we love him.

I will be making the post regarding the gynie probably on Wednesday since I know how exciting those little visits can be, so try not to get your panties in a bunch. Haha. Again, so punny.

Back to not quite the Beginning

So, we'll just fast forward through some of the not so important details of my life, you know, the ones that don't really matter, and get to the current situation at hand. Have you ever just had one of those moments, where you know that your life has definitely taken a turn, not necessarily for the better or worse, but you know that something drastic is about to go down? Well, that's pretty much what my current situation is all about. Not expecting the expected, so to speak. I mean, I don't blame him... (yes ladies, a him..) It is my fault and I should have expected it all along. But, for some strange reason women seem to think that they will always get their way no matter what..forever..and ever..and nothing will change that..and nobody can stop them..and it's the way it is..so don't ever tell me otherwise. Bitch.

Anyway, so let's just pretend that I stop getting my way and living life as if I'm the only thing that matters and my feelings aren't top priority and I actually get a slap in the face and kicked out of a certain some body's (his) home. Now, ouch. First off I don't take physical or mental pain all that well. As most women don't. So I might actually cry to the slap in the face, whether it be physical or mental. And so I did. I cried and cried to my friends, fam, co-workers, ect. and so on. Boo-f-ity-Hoo. (Thanks everyone for supporting my head with your shoulders via phone). Now, what am I to do? The only thing that there is left to do for a 21 year old, making 11.00/hr, who have no immediate friends that have jobs or have siblings that live in the area... Move in with Mom. Oh yeah. Move all the way up to BFE Phoenix and have the 1200 mile commute to work everyday. But what the hell can ya honestly do? Right?

This blog is basically the word vomit and aftermath of a not so swell situation for myself. I will try to include lots of emotional roller coasters and "exciting" new adventures that I find myself in, in the retirement community in which I will call home. I will bring along with me, my faithful dog, Petey (which I have included a photo of in his old backyard..) and lots and lots of other photographs. And please whatever you do, do not at all take me seriously for I tend to use sarcasm as a coping mechanism.
